Microsoft's Recall feature for Windows, which aims to record desktop activity by taking screenshots and making them searchable, has faced delays due to privacy and security concerns.
The feature drew criticism for potential risks in terms of unauthorized access to personal and private information stored on users' PCs.
Microsoft previously postponed the release of Recall to add privacy and security protections and has now announced another delay to further improve these aspects.
The initial release of Recall is now planned for December 2024, with testing to be conducted among users in the Windows Insider Program.
