Microsoft has introduced a smaller version of its Surface Laptop, the 13-inch model priced at $899, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor.
The Surface Laptop 13-inch features a 13-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1280, lower than the larger Surface Laptop 7, and has two USB-C 3.2 ports but lacks Windows Hello facial recognition.
It comes with options of 16GB RAM and 256GB storage or 512GB storage at $999, and preserves a fan for cooling despite Microsoft's move towards fan-less designs.
The Surface Laptop 13-inch will be available for preorder on May 20th, with consumers receiving shipments on the same day and businesses able to purchase from July 22nd.
