<ul><li>UENOA Architects extends the entrance area of an office building in Tokyo to incorporate Fil Cream, a small take-out soft serve ice cream shop.</li><li>The shop is designed with a fan-shaped floor plan to optimize space at the building's entrance and create a functional separation between the pedestrian flow and the customers using the shop.</li><li>The exterior of the shop is clad in custom-made green tiles that complement the original yellow tiles of the building's facade, establishing a visual relationship between the new addition and the existing architecture.</li><li>The design also repurposes the existing staircase into seating areas, enhancing the entrance space and its connection to the surrounding urban environment.</li></ul>
