Mitsubishi to launch a new 7-seater SUV this year, based on the Xforce B-segment SUV, to compete with Toyota Rush, Daihatsu Terios, and Perodua Aruz triplets.
The upcoming SUV is expected to offer greater comfort and handling with its monocoque construction and may come with powertrains such as a 1.5-liter MIVEC four-cylinder engine or a hybrid system.
Next-generation Xpander and Pajero Sport models are also in the pipeline, with the Xpander expected to feature enhanced safety features like six airbags, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
The next-gen Pajero Sport will be based on the third-generation Triton pick-up, featuring a new 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine with twin sequential turbochargers, offering up to 204 PS and 470 Nm of torque.
