Mitsubishi is collaborating with partners to hasten the development of new models, leading to a growing number of badge-engineered cars.
In addition to using Renault platforms in Europe and a Nissan Leaf-based crossover in the US, Mitsubishi is now working with Taiwanese automaker Foxtron to launch a new EV in Australia and New Zealand next year.
The upcoming electric crossover, developed by Foxtron and based on the Model B, boasts a range of over 310 miles and features all-wheel drive capability.
Mitsubishi's reliance on external partners underscores its urgency to introduce fresh products, especially in the EV sector, hinting at potential collaborations for additional models globally.
