Mozilla is shutting down its read-it-later app Pocket on July 8, 2025, to focus resources on supporting Firefox.Pocket is no longer available to download, and existing subscriptions will be cancelled and refunded by July 8.Users have until October 8 to export their Pocket data before it is deleted, and the Pocket API will be shut down on the same day.Mozilla is also shutting down Fakespot, a browser extension for vetting product reviews, citing sustainability challenges.
