Murshidabad is set to host the biggest mango festival in its 10th edition, aiming for more than 1,000 visitors to experience various mango varieties from 400 orchards in the region.
The festival will last for a month, offering activities like a daily mango trail experience, where visitors can hand-pick and taste different mangoes, learn about their history and cultivation, and explore rare and local varieties.
The diverse range of attendees expected at the festival includes mango and heritage enthusiasts, foodies, travelers, horticulturists, culinary historians, and chefs, creating a unique blend of participants.
The House of Sheherwali in Azimganj has been added this year to accommodate a large number of visitors, showcasing artifacts from various cultures and households, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
