Elon Musk plans to take Starship to Mars for its first uncrewed mission with Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot on board.
SpaceX's reusable Starship rocket is expected to depart for Mars at the end of 2026, with human landings commencing a few years later.
Musk aims to launch more than 90% of Earth's payload mass to orbit this year, with China making up just 5% and the rest of the world accounting for the remaining 5%.
SpaceX has been testing Starship and successfully caught the Super Heavy booster, but still faces challenges to make the rocket a viable product for reusable space travel.
