The author chose to use Azure as their main cloud platform for the CRC. The author shared that in their experience, Microsoft is the king when it comes to enterprise technology and found that Azure seemed like the safest bet.
The author also delved into the topic of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and its uses for coding projects. They highlighted that having a fundamental understanding of what the problem(s) are before utilizing AI can help use it in an efficient manner.
The author provided insights on each chunk of the CRC challenge. They used CloudFlare for their domain purchase and A Cloud Guru's website template for building their website
The author shared that making the back-end database was challenging as they had to learn how to use Cosmo-DB and Azure functions. They also found connecting front and back-end challenging, but very satisfying once they were able to figure it out.
The author found the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) very fascinating to them, especially as they have Configuration as Code experience with Ansible. Additionally, the author noted that most of the Terraform skill came from knowing the individual cloud services well enough to properly describe them in HCL.
