<ul><li>Google's Nest has announced the end of support for first and second generation smart, WiFi-enabled Learning Thermostats.</li><li>As of October 25, 2025, Nest's Learning Thermostats will no longer connect to or work in the Google Nest app or Google Home app.</li><li>Third-party assistants and features such as Home/Away Assist will also cease to function.</li><li>Users can still control the thermostats directly, and certain features like pre-set schedules will continue to work; Google is offering eligible users a discount on the fourth generation Nest Learning Thermostat.</li></ul>
