Netflix CEO, Ted Sarandos, expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of landing Taylor Swift to perform for an NFL Christmas Day game.
Swift has made frequent appearances at NFL games over the past few seasons, and with Netflix streaming at least one Christmas Day game in 2022 and 2026, the idea seems plausible.
Regarding the Super Bowl, Sarandos mentioned that Netflix has the technical capability to support a Super Bowl-sized audience but the economic model is challenging compared to the networks' deals.
Netflix plans to include more live events in its programming, although they will remain a small part of the total viewing and budget.
