Netflix has secured the rights to the FIFA Women’s World Cup for 2027 and 2031, marking the first time the tournament will be aired on a streaming service.
The 2027 Women’s World Cup will be held in Brazil, featuring 32 teams competing in 12 cities.
Netflix will provide coverage in multiple languages and create studio shows for pregame and postgame coverage.
In addition to the World Cup, Netflix has been expanding its live sports offerings, including streaming the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson boxing match and broadcasting NFL and WWE events.
