Netflix has more than doubled the number of viewers on its ad-supported tier in the past year, reaching over 94 million users monthly.The streaming service will introduce new ad formats like pause ads and interactive ads by the end of 2026.Netflix's president of advertising mentioned that subscribers on the ad-supported tier spend an average of 41 hours per month on the platform.Netflix aims to expand its in-house advertising platform to all 12 countries with ad-supported plans by June for a faster progress in the ad business.
