<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="true">BMW is working on an updated version of the M340i called the M350, part of the new naming conventions in the Neue Klasse era.Rumors suggest the M350 could have around 420 hp (313 kW), up from the current 382 hp (285 kW).The M350 will keep the 3.0-liter turbocharged B58 inline-six engine and will meet Euro 7 emissions standards.It will retain the CLAR architecture and maintain rear-wheel drive and xDrive options with an eight-speed automatic transmission.The design will feature Neue Klasse concept elements, like a refreshed front end, quad tailpipes, and BMW's iconic kidney grilles.The interior is expected to undergo significant changes with a full-width display and large trapezoidal screen for the infotainment system.The production of the M350 is expected to begin in late 2026, as part of the next-generation 3 Series lineup.
