New French Shows & Movies Coming to Netflix in 2025 and Beyond
- Netflix announced a comprehensive preview of all the French scripted and unscripted shows and the movies scheduled to drop in 2025 on the platform.
- Astérix et Obélix, which is the first foray of Netflix France into premium animated miniseries, is the most anticipated project on the French lineup this year.
- Other scripted programs include Under A Dark Sun, Néro, Les Lionnes, Blood Coast (Pax Massilia) Season 2, Tout Pour La Lumière, Love Is Blind France, Rhythm + Flow France (Season 4).
- New French movies include Honeymoon Crasher, Bastion 36, Banger, French Lover, Lost Bullet 3, Le Bus: Les Bleus en Grève.
- Furies, GIGN and Einstein are some French series coming to Netflix in 2026.
- Young Millionaire, a coming-of-age comedy centred on four 17-year-olds who win €17m on the lottery, will likely be a popular show.
- Under a Dark Sun follows a young new mother who gets a job at a flower production facility in Southeast France.
- Néro tells the story of a cynical assassin in XVIth century France.
- French rom-com Honeymoon Crasher stars Michèle Laroque and an appearance from French comedy superstar Kad Merad.
- French Lover with Omar Sy about a movie star who meets a girl and starts a tumultuous relationship is expected to be a global hit.
- Netflix France has claimed that Banger, the first feature film of renowned French graphic artist SoMe, has a mix of Zoolander, the Coen brothers and the Splendid.
