<ul><li>New World is launching Season 8, called Season of the Divide, on May 13th.</li><li>Season 8 will introduce a Hardcore Seasonal World, a new Coral Divide Outpost Rush map, World Bosses, and preview weekends for Capture the Flag and 3v3 Arena.</li><li>The Hardcore Seasonal World, named Hardcore, will have faster leveling and gearing, with no artifact limits. Players who die once will forfeit the ability to unlock unfallen rewards.</li><li>Other features include a new Barbershop, new open-world boss events, quality-of-life perks, and updates in the future roadmap, such as a new raid, zone upleveling, and farming.</li></ul>
