<ul><li>Amazon has released a software update, version 5.18.1, for their latest Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Colorsoft models.</li><li>The update includes a new feature called 'double tap to page turn' which allows users to turn the page or move to the next screen by double-tapping on the back or side of the device.</li><li>The 5.18.1 update is available for all Kindle readers from 2018 onwards, but the double-tap feature is only supported on the 12th-generation Paperwhite and Colorsoft.</li><li>In addition to the double-tap feature, the update also provides new book summaries for thousands of English language Kindle books to help users choose their next read.</li></ul>
