Walko Food Company, the parent of NIC Ice Cream, has acquired Mumbai-based Meemee’s Ice Creams, expanding its presence in India’s artisanal dessert market.
The acquisition adds Meemee’s experimental formats to Walko’s portfolio, aiming to enhance its urban market presence and digital distribution channels.
Meemee’s branding targets younger consumers with unconventional desserts, bridging traditional and modern experiences in the ice cream sector.
The deal allows Meemee’s to scale nationally and aligns with the shift towards niche, experience-driven ice cream products in India's growing market.
