Nikola's hydrogen trucks are up for auction in one of the company's final steps in selling off assets after filing for bankruptcy in February.
Auction house Gordon Brothers purchased the hydrogen trucking assets from Nikola and listed around $114 million worth of assets, including finished hydrogen trucks and related equipment.
These assets are being auctioned a month after EV startup Lucid Motors acquired Nikola's manufacturing facility and headquarters in Arizona.
The auction of Nikola's hydrogen trucks and assets comes at a time when hydrogen technology faces challenges due to fading financial support for hydrogen power by House Republicans.
