Nintendo is discontinuing its Switch game vouchers program for Switch Online members, which allowed them to save money on digital games.
The vouchers will no longer be available for purchase after January 30th, 2026, and any remaining vouchers will expire one year from the purchase date.
Players could purchase a pair of vouchers for $99.98 and redeem them for two eligible games priced at $59.99 each, allowing them to save about $10 per game.
Nintendo is uncertain about introducing a new cost-saving method for pricier games like Mario Kart World on the Switch 2, and it recently ended its My Nintendo Gold Points loyalty program as well.
