<ul><li>Nissan is planning to produce a new electric adventure-focused SUV at its Canton, Mississippi plant, starting in 2028.</li><li>The boxy silhouette of the upcoming SUV appears to be inspired by the Xterra, a rugged off-roader previously produced by Nissan.</li><li>The new electric SUV is expected to have an authentic SUV look and will share the CMF-EV architecture with Nissan's other electric crossovers, the Ariya and upcoming third-generation Leaf.</li><li>In addition to the new electric SUV, Nissan also plans to introduce an Infiniti coupe crossover inspired by the Vision QXe concept at the same plant.</li></ul>
