Nissan plans to cut around 20,000 jobs worldwide as part of its turnaround plan under its new CEO, Ivan Espinosa.Most of the job cuts will happen in Japan and other global markets, adding to the previously planned 9,000 cuts.Nissan aims to achieve profitability at a global sales volume of 3.5 million units by cutting production output and reducing costs.The automaker has also canceled plans for a new electric vehicle battery factory in Japan as part of its cost-cutting measures.
