Nissan Australia is considering the Frontier Pro Plug-in Hybrid dual-cab ute for the local market, co-developed with China's Dongfeng.
The Frontier Pro PHEV is Nissan's first plug-in hybrid model globally, based on a Chinese collaboration with Dongfeng and offering 300kW of power and 800Nm of torque.
The vehicle features V2L capability, braked towing capacity of 3500kg, 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Nissan plans to reveal the new Navara next year in Australia, with a facelifted NP300 Navara/Frontier arriving in Latin American markets during the 2026 Japanese financial year.
