Nissan has reversed its decision to cut production of the Rogue crossover in response to the new auto tariffs in the US.
The Rogue crossover, which is built in Tennessee, is exempt from the worst impacts of the tariffs, saving hundreds of jobs.
Nissan will maintain two shifts of production at its Smyrna, TN assembly facility to keep more localized volume in the US, unaffected by the new auto tariffs.
Nissan, with over half of its US sales volume sourced from its plants in Tennessee and Mississippi, has ample unaffected inventory and will continue to evaluate the impact and make any necessary adjustments to production.
