Heatwave conditions are expected in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab for the next 4-5 days, according to the India Meteorological Department.
Rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in east India between April 7 and 10.
Maximum temperatures in northwest India, Maharashtra, and south Peninsular India will rise by 2-4°C over the next four days, followed by a decrease of 2-3°C in the subsequent three days.
Gujarat will see an increase in maximum temperature by 2°C over the next two days, followed by a decline.
