The Northeastern University team won the MassRobotics Form & Function University Robotics Challenge with their compliant robot arm.
The competition had fifteen teams showcasing innovative robotic projects, with the winning robot called Soft Robotic Arm Screwdriver.
University of Waterloo's Gripper for First Responders won second prize and audience choice, while Heat Robotics University of British Columbia received third prize.
MassRobotics also featured healthcare startups at the Robotics Summit & Expo, in addition to strategic partnerships for future events.
