Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has launched a new app named Sun Day, designed to track sun exposure and vitamin D levels based on UV index and skin type.
The app, available for iOS via TestFlight, uses location-based data to show the local UV index and sunlight hours, allowing users to input details like skin type and clothing level.
Users can manually switch between being in and out of the sun, with the app monitoring their vitamin D levels for the day and suggesting a safe duration for direct sunlight exposure to avoid burning.
Jack Dorsey is using open-source AI coding tool Goose for his coding projects and the development of apps like Sun Day, reflecting the growing importance of such tools in the tech industry.
