<ul><li>KDE has introduced a new project called Karton for easy virtual machine management in the KDE desktop.</li><li>Karton delivers similar functionality to GNOME Boxes and is currently in early development stages.</li><li>The project can generate new VMs, run them, and capture their screens to a desktop window, but currently only works with QEMU.</li><li>Karton is part of a Google Summer Of Code project and aims to provide open source graphical applications for effortless VM usage.</li></ul>
