NTPC plans to build 2 GW of nuclear energy capacity by 2032, according to CMD Gurdeep Singh.
The company is also in discussions with the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and the Department of Atomic Energy for participation in small modular reactors.
NTPC Green Energy Ltd., the company's renewable energy arm, will focus on solar and wind energy, along with green hydrogen derivatives.
The target is to achieve 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032, with the potential to reach 70-80 GW with storage capacity.
