Nvidia has announced the launch of its Nvidia Omniverse Blueprint, a technology allowing industry software developers to create digital twins with realistic real-time physics.
The technology enables computer-aided engineering (CAE) customers in various industries to generate digital twins with real-time interactivity, such as the virtual wind tunnel used in car design simulations.
Developers can use the reference workflow, which includes Nvidia acceleration libraries, physics-AI frameworks, and interactive physically based rendering, to achieve significantly faster simulations and real-time visualization, helping to reduce development costs and energy usage.
Ansys is the first customer to adopt the Omniverse Blueprint, applying it to accelerate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, completing a 2.5-billion-cell automotive simulation in just over six hours.
