Nvidia has announced the release date of its $299 RTX 5060 graphics card and accompanying laptops starting at $1,099 on May 19th, available for purchase at 9AM PT / 12PM ET.
The RTX 5060 features 3,840 CUDA cores, less than the previously released 5060 Ti, and includes GDDR7 memory, support for DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, ray tracing, and tensor cores.
Upcoming games like MechWarrior 5: Clans and New World: Aeternum will be updated with DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation support before the RTX 5060 launch.
Concerns arise over the limited 8GB VRAM on the RTX 5060 and potential price increases, as retailers have been selling GPUs at a premium even before recent tariff changes.
