Oasis Protocol Foundation has officially launched Runtime Offchain Logic (ROFL) to assist Web3 developers in building efficient applications off-chain while maintaining blockchain-level trust and privacy.
ROFL leverages Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to enable developers to create privacy-preserving consumer and finance applications, supporting tasks like AI model training and data analysis.
With the ability to execute resource-intensive operations off-chain within secure enclaves, ROFL facilitates connecting results to smart contracts on-chain, unlocking new possibilities in the AI and blockchain domains.
ROFL is being adopted by projects like Zeph and WT3, offering solutions for maintaining data confidentiality and enabling decentralized trading strategies. It aims to become a versatile infrastructure for various AI applications and services.
