Omeda Studios, the creator of Predecessor, fixed its multiplayer matchmaking by consolidating its server locations.
The company had servers on the West Coast and East Coast of the U.S., which caused inconsistent ping times for players.
To resolve the issue, Omeda Studios consolidated all its servers in Dallas, resulting in uniform ping times of 40 milliseconds for players across both coasts.
The update improved the game's responsiveness and competitive experience, and the company plans to expand to South America and Asia in the future.
