ONGC's standalone net profit for the fourth quarter dropped nearly 22% to Rs 6,448 crore, compared to Rs 8,240 crore in the previous quarter, primarily due to higher expenses.
Revenue from operations increased by 3.8% to Rs 34,982 crore, while expenses rose by 16% to Rs 28,289 crore.
The company's Q4 FY25 results showed revenue up 3.8% to Rs 34,982 crore and a net profit down by 21.7% to Rs 6,448 crore.
ONGC's board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.25 per share for FY25, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. ONGC shares closed 0.2% lower at Rs 248.75 on the BSE after the results announcement.
