onsemi to trim global workforce by 2,400 this year
- US-based company onsemi plans to trim its global workforce by 2,400 this year.
- The layoffs will impact about nine percent of onsemi's team worldwide, with job cuts across all business divisions.
- The cost-saving measure is expected to save the company $105m to $115m annually.
