Miles Brundage, OpenAI's Senior Advisor for AGI Readiness, has resigned after six years with the organization to focus on AI policy research outside the tech industry.
Brundage was instrumental in shaping OpenAI's AI safety culture, developing red teaming programs, and creating system cards for transparency and ethical use.
His departure coincides with other leadership changes at OpenAI, including the exits of CTO Mira Murati and VP of Research Barret Zoph.
OpenAI has introduced consistency models to improve AI sampling speed and performance, following $6.6 billion in funding.
