<ul><li>OpenAI announced plans to build a one-gigawatt artificial intelligence data center in the United Arab Emirates.</li><li>The facility will house about 100,000 graphics processing units and is part of OpenAI's program to establish AI infrastructure for countries.</li><li>OpenAI is partnering with Nvidia, Oracle Corp., Cisco Systems Inc., SoftBank Group Corp., and Emirati AI company G42 for the project.</li><li>The data center, located in Abu Dhabi, will have an initial capacity of 200 megawatts in 2026 and will utilize Nvidia's advanced GB300 appliances for AI systems.</li></ul>
