OpenAI's next-generation o3 model will arrive early next year
- OpenAI has announced its next-generation model, called o3, which will be available early next year.
- The o3 model is currently being made available to researchers for safety testing.
- A smaller version of o3, called o3 mini, is planned to be launched by the end of January.
- o3 has shown improved performance compared to its predecessor, achieving a 96.7% accuracy score in tests.
