Oppenheim Architecture unveils the Vlore Beach Urban Development in Vlore, Albania, along the Adriatic shoreline.
The development spans a 20,465-square-meter site and incorporates 89,320 square meters of new construction, featuring a central pedestrian promenade connecting architecture with landscape.
Drawing inspiration from Albanian village clusters, the project includes colorful, human-scaled buildings organized around shared spaces and a civic corridor lined with cafes, squares, and shops.
The design incorporates stone, lime-based plasters, and timber details for low-rise buildings, with three towers rising above the neighborhood to preserve view corridors and open space.
