Apple has introduced a new feature called 'Help Apple Improve Search' in macOS Sequoia that sends and stores search queries to improve search results.
The feature is enabled by default and can be found in System Settings under Spotlight.
Concerns have been raised about the collection and transmission of privacy-sensitive data, even if it is not directly linked to personal information.
To prevent search queries from being sent to Apple, users need to disable both the 'Help Apple Improve Search' option and the 'Include Safari Suggestions' setting in Safari.
