Orient Cables has filed draft papers for a ₹700-crore IPO, which includes a fresh issue and an Offer for Sale (OFS) by promoters.
The fresh issue comprises equity shares worth ₹320 crore, with the OFS consisting of equity shares totaling ₹380 crore, making the total offer size ₹700 crore as stated in the draft red herring prospectus.
Proceeds from the fresh issue, specifically ₹91.50 crore, will be utilized for capital expenditure, while ₹155.50 crore will go towards repayment of outstanding borrowings and general corporate purposes.
Orient Cables, a manufacturing company focusing on networking cables and passive networking equipment for various industries, might conduct a pre-IPO placement of up to ₹64 crore, managed by IIFL Capital Services and JM Financial.
