Private aviation emissions have increased by 46% from 2019 to 2023, leading to backlash and two major airports in the Netherlands banning private jets.
Otto Aviation announced the Phantom 3500, a windowless jet designed for sustainable private air travel, reducing drag by 35% and fuel consumption by up to 50% compared to conventional business jets.
The Phantom 3500 features high-definition digital displays inside the cabin, offering panoramic views from external cameras, contributing to both the in-flight experience and the aircraft's structural integrity and aerodynamic performance.
Powered by twin turbofan engines, the Phantom 3500 has a range of over 3,600 miles, cruises at altitudes up to 51,000 feet, and aims to set new standards in private jet travel with flight testing starting in 2027 and commercial deliveries expected by 2030.
