Oura has introduced new activity updates to its smart ring, such as a trend view for active minutes and the ability to add max heart rate to adjust heart rate zones.
Users can now manually add or edit activities for the past seven days, view heart rate data from partner integrations, and benefit from an enhanced Automatic Activity Detection feature.
The company has improved its step counting accuracy using a machine-learning model, reduced the daily step count error by 61%, and enhanced Active Calorie burn calculations with heart rate integration.
Additionally, Oura has partnered with CorePower Yoga, Sculpt Society, Technogym, and Open to offer enhanced activity tracking capabilities through its smart ring.
