Over 100 dogs were rescued from a 'puppy mill' in rural Tennessee after a raid by Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office and Animal Control.
The rescued dogs were found in substandard conditions with the floor covered in urine and feces, and some suffering from infections, parasites, dehydration, and matting.
The Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) is currently taking care of the dogs, which include Maltese, Havanese, Yorkies, and other 'designer' mixes of breeds, providing them with necessary medical and social care.
A total of 113 dogs, including newborn puppies, were rescued, with ARC working on finding them loving homes after their traumatic experiences in the puppy mill.
