<ul><li>Patanjali Ayurved and five other entities have received clearance from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) to acquire a 98% stake in Magma General Insurance.</li><li>The transaction is being notified under the green channel route, which expedites the approval process for deals that don't pose any adverse effect on competition.</li><li>Apart from Patanjali Ayurved, the participating entities include S R Foundation, Riti Foundation, RR Foundation, Suruchi Foundation, and Swati Foundation.</li><li>Following the approval, Patanjali Ayurved will become the promoter entity of Magma General Insurance, diversifying its portfolio that currently focuses on healthcare and FMCG.</li></ul>
