Path Robotics, a company specializing in autonomous welding robots, has raised $100 million in new investments.
The Columbus-based company aims to leverage artificial intelligence to address challenges in the manufacturing industry and has developed robotic systems that use AI, machine learning, and computer vision for welding parts.
Path Robotics currently offers two welding products in the market: the AW-3 Robotic Welding Cell for handling large parts and the AF-1 Robotic Welding Cell for autonomous welding without human intervention.
The funding round was led by Matter Venture Partners and Drive Capital, with participation from Yamaha Ventures, Taiwania Capital, MediaTek, and other prominent investors.
