Penang state government buys 15 Toyota Camry 2.5V sedans for official use at a total cost of RM3.31 million.
The new fleet includes 10 cars for state executive councillors, 3 for ex-officio members, and one each for the state legislative assembly speaker and deputy speaker.
Each vehicle costs an average of RM220,783, including taxes and excise duties.
These new cars replace the previous Camry fleet that was over five years old, with the purchase questioned in light of the state's financial difficulties.
