A U.S. appeals court has overturned a decision in an antitrust lawsuit against Meta, allowing Phhhoto to argue that Meta behaved in an anti-competitive manner.
Phhhoto alleges that Meta copied its core features, suppressed competition, and manipulated its algorithmic feed on Instagram to suppress Phhhoto's content.
Phhhoto claims that it discovered the algorithmic manipulation when a video posted on a different account received more likes and views than the same video posted on its own account.
The case will be sent back to the district court to be tried.
