Philips is launching a program called Fixables, allowing customers to 3D print replacement parts for their personal care products.
The initiative is a partnership with Prusa Research and LePub, hosted by Printables, but quality of prints and accessibility to 3D printers are concerns.
Fixables is in early stages, initially launching in the Czech Republic with plans for more parts, and customers can request parts to be added.
The initiative aims to tackle waste from personal care products and explore 3D printing for sustainability efforts.
