PhonePe's Rs 2,193 Cr ESOP bill pushed it into losses in FY24
- PhonePe reported reduced losses of Rs 1,996 crore in FY24, down from Rs 2,795 crore in the previous year.
- ESOP costs of Rs 2,193 crore contributed to PhonePe's losses in FY24.
- Expenses increased by 31.30% to Rs 7,756 crore, while revenue soared by 74% to Rs 5,064 crore in FY24.
- PhonePe expanded its services beyond payments, entering financial services, insurance, lending, and e-commerce.
